Day 1, Saturday (Travel Day):

Day 2, Sunday (Travel/Ski):
•    Arrive in Bariloche in the afternoon
•    Tour town
•    Lodging in Bariloche (12 km to ski area) – 6 nights
•    Breakfast included

Day 3, Monday  (Ski Day):
•    Ski Catedral Alta Patagonia – 5 days

•    The ski area has 32 lifts (1 tram, 11 chairs, and 20 surface lifts) serving terrain for all abilities (15% beginner, 60% intermediate, 20% advanced, 5% expert).  Bottom elevation is 1,050 meters (3,445 feet) and the top elevation is 2,050 meters (6,725 feet), from which an awesome view of the Andes and lakes of Patagonia can be enjoyed.

•    Travel to San Martin de Los Andes

•    Travel to Bariloche after skiing - depart 4:00 p.m. arrive 9:00 p.m.

Day 11, Tuesday (Ski Day)
•    Travel to Esquel – a 5 hour drive from Bariloche and 15 km from the ski area of La Hoya.
o    We will lunch in El Bolson at a great Micro Brewery and will also be passing near the small town of Cholila -- this is where Butch Cassidy and the Sun Dance Kid lived when hiding in S.A.
•    Lodging in Esquel

Day 12, Wednesday (Travel Day):
•    Ski La Hoya
o    La Hoya is the southernmost ski area in the Lakes District.  Both the latitude and orientation of the slopes provide good skiing later into the season than the other areas in the region.  La Hoya is a small ski area with 5 lifts and 1,640 ft of vertical drop.
o    The off-piste skiing is exceptional and easily accessed:  “A week could be easily passed enjoying hikes to the off-piste terrain of La Hoya.”  (South America Ski Guide)
